What do you see through the window? Last year, we saw teddy bears and rainbows cheering up our neighbours’ windows. Through our own windows, we watched seasons change; new flowers pop into colour, and unknown people passing by became familiar faces.
Salt and Poppet Theatre hosts illustration and shadow puppetry workshops with your community celebrating nature, neighbourhoods and nourishment. During the day, a colourful landscape of art celebrating nature will shine in the daylight. And at sunset, shadow puppets celebrating neighbours and nourishment will emerge, revealing the windows to the soul.
Thank you for such a well-planned, enjoyable, and gorgeous workshop program. We were so impressed with how much the artists managed to fit into the 90 minute workshops and the skills they passed on to the young participants. It was such a joy to see the room activated in such a way. It definitely created a love of and appreciation for puppetry for our young people attending.

Windows to the Soul is a project originally developed with Moonee Valley City Council, in order to reactivate The Clocktower Centre, provide community participation and learning, and host an artist residency as we emerged from Covid restrictions.
